Let's Share, Talk, Socialize, and Make Weekly Goals!

In this weekly, ongoing meeting we will practice our social skills: speaking, taking turns, listening, being kind, and responding positively as we share about our week and build friendships. I always love how my learners want to share so much! This class is ongoing, so you may drop in/out according to your schedule. 

Each week the class will be structured as below. However, if a great discussion arises, I will let the learners lead if appropriate and adjust as necessary. All learners will have a turn (although I do not force participation) and I do set classroom rules to control a safe, friendly, environment for all learners.

5 minutes: Morning greeting and introductions
5 minutes: Share something fun/exciting from the past week
5 minutes: Share a proud moment (something kind, new skill, accomplishment, etc.)
5 minutes: Show and tell (artwork, new toy, pet, favorite book, etc.)
5 minutes: Discussion about a goal for the week (helping someone, being kind, getting organized, making a friend, helping at home, etc.)
5 minutes: Goodbye (questions, riddle, joke, I spy, etc. if time permits)
