The student will learn how to make a creative vest that will spark creativity in themselves and to those around them. They will learn how to express themselves when words are hard to find. We are not trying to be the Best seamstress or a seamster. We are trying to be the VEST!
I have made about 20 vests for my magic work. I have made all sizes and share them with others. I was instructed once how to make my first vest and began right away making them on my own, as a series of vests, that are completely different in material and style. I acquire scrap fabric to use when at all possible.
Homework Offered
Between classes, the student will prepare for the next session such as getting material, cutting patterns, pinning, scissor work. They will be instructed what to work on between classes.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
