Let’s Rock! Creative Rock Painting (Multi-Day Class)
This multi-day class will focus on more than just rock painting? It blends in topics and vocabulary terms that allows the learner to become creative in painting their rocks. Learners will focus on topics and discuss, create, paint, and share their mini painted rock projects.

Description
Class Experience
Students will discuss vocabulary terms related to rock painting. Students will paint 4 or more rocks based on the themes and ideas. Students will share their painted rock creations with other learners. Students may hide their painted rock for others to find.

4 or more rocks…preferably white (at least 2 to 3 inches wide) acrylic paint (2 oz. bottles): suggested colors: burgundy, olive, burnt orange, golden yellow, white, blue, brown, red, beige, black, etc. lined paper (2 sheets for notes) pencil with eraser paint brushes (2 flat and 2 pointed) plastic cup with water (to wash brushes) paper towels
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Formative assessments of discussions, vocabulary terms and the weekly painted rock.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
