Class Experience
Each week learners will explore a new word family! The words we learn in our word families will be used to help your learner read simple sentences. This is a great starting point for beginning readers who have an understanding of the alphabet and the sounds they make. This course will use group discussions, slides, games, and more to help young learners grow their knowledge of CVC word families! this four-week class will include learning -at family words, -an family words, -ig family words,...
Learners will learn new CVC family words each week. They will practice sounding out words that follow each CVC family pattern.
I have experience in teaching children in the pre-k through first grade range how to blend words together to become fluent readers!
Learners may be asked to bring a piece of paper and a writing utensil.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
