Books take us to new places, but sometimes it's more fun to travel with others. In this book club we will build fluency and engage in meaningful discussion, while expanding our understanding of literary devices. We will touch on flashback, foreshadowing, symbolism, false endings, characterization and voice (to name a few). All of the books I have chosen are modern reads, published within the last five years.
