Class Experience

US Grade 1
In this class, students will learn and practice reading stories. They will enjoy reading different stories and focus on learning comprehension skills.

I will use DIGITAL PROPS and TPR( total physical response). In my long time of experience working with children, I found that students love to get engaged in their studies when they can connect.

I will use "fiction and nonfiction books", of course always choose books that are child-friendly and connected to everyday life. This class focuses on helping students improve their reading and comprehension skills. Using E-books from "Education.com" of different levels, students will have the opportunity to read a variety of stories. Through my experience working with children, I have found that students thrive when they are connected to their studies.

The books selected for this class will be child-friendly and relevant to everyday life. I will ensure that each child feels comfortable and confident in class, encouraging them to express their thoughts and discuss new vocabulary.
We will explore different questions such as "What do you see?" and "What would you do if the same thing happened to you?"

At the end of the session, we will celebrate our progress and have fun sharing our experiences. I am confident that students will enjoy these 8 weeks of lessons and cherish the memories they create.

Master's Degree in Education from At. Johns University
Hello,

My name is Saima Maswood and I have worked as an elementary teacher for over 14 years. During my teaching career, I had the privilege of teaching elementary children in New York City. However, I have transitioned to becoming an online teacher, specializing in teaching English to children for the past six years. I have a Master's Degree in Education from St. Johns University and a certificate in teaching English as a Foreign Language. Currently, I am an ESL teacher. As a teacher, "I received more than 1200 five apple feedback from the parents". I am proud to say that Bengali is my native language and I enjoy designing Bengali language classes too.
I love to make my classroom fun and lively where children can get involved in different activities. I enjoy creating unique ideas for my classroom. I am excited to work with you and your child. I strongly believe they will succeed in my class.

In addition to teaching, I enjoy reading books, working out, and gardening. I look forward to seeing your child in my class. Thank you.
