Let's Read Short Stories in Spanish: Improving Our Fluency and Comprehension
In this ongoing class learners with basic Spanish knowledge will work on their fluency while reading short stories in Spanish, answering questions, and summarizing what they have read in English. This class will be in English and Spanish.

This is an ongoing class for learners who have some experience with Spanish. It is helpful if learners are familiar with greetings, colors, and some foundational conversational knowledge. In this ongoing class learners will greet each other in Spanish. Learners will take turns reading in Spanish and summarizing in English what they have read. We will annotate on screen to mark vocabulary and target phrases. Learners will take turns reading multiple choice questions and responding. Hello, my name is Stephanie. I live in the sunny state of Florida. I have been working in the public school system for over ten years. My have my bachelor's degree in business administration. I enjoyed helping, teaching, and assisting others learn new things that I went back to get my Masters of Education from the University of Central Florida. I hold my teaching certificate in the state of Florida and I am certified in Elementary Education K-6 and Middle Grades Math 5-9. I am also ESOL endorsed by my state.
