Description
Class Experience
Students will learn to read and write short a CVC words.
Natalie is a seasoned teacher who loves teaching reading and writing. She has 15 years experience teaching learners of all abilities, and understand the science of reading. She is a trained Montessori teacher, so she understands the importance of using hands-on methods. Natalie has helped children of varying ages and abilities crack the code of reading!
Students will receive several print-ables for this class. They can use them again and again to practice reading and writing short a CVC words. An optional electronic resource will be provided for families that wish to allow their child to practice on a device such as an iPad.
Print-ables will be provided for each class session.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
This class is best for children who know their consonant sounds. If you child has specific learning needs, please let me know, so we can accommodate or modify as needed.
Please print and cut out materials before class, so we can use class time to read, write, and learn.
