Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will gain extra practice with reading and familiarizing themselves with text materials as well as practice identifying the main character of a text and the setting of the story and the main events.
This course focuses on the topic of reading and providing the opportunity to practice skills aligned with most states reading standards. I have a degree in special education and have worked with students in PreK- high school on implementing strategies to improve reading. I am also a certified school counselor, my background in school counseling provides me with a unique insight to create an foster a safe and welcoming environment which all students require when they are practicing skills such as reading.
The students will not be expected to have a copy of the books we read. Though if you would like access to a copy please use this link to a digital library where you can check out the books we will be reading each week. https://archive.org/details/scoobydoocreepyc00mcca/page/n27/mode/1up
