In this one time class I will read a loud “La Gallinita Roja” illustrated by Lucinda McQueen and translated by Elva R. López. We will discuss the story for comprehension, sequence of events as well to learn new vocabulary in Spanish.
Class experience
“La Gallinita Roja” will be read a loud. There will pauses in between the story to make sure students are understanding the story and for them to guess what’s going to happen next. There will be a discussion at the end of the story to discuss the sequence of events and what happened in the story. There will visuals to help students understand the story.
