US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
This class is perfect for children who have already mastered identifying letters and letter sounds? In each class students we will say the sounds, read the words, write the words, draw the words, read a sentence with the word in it and play a game with the words. In each class the students will work on a different word family. Join me each class or pick and choose the classes that work best for your child! See the full schedule below: 1st class: "at" words (ex. cat, hat, bat, mat) 2nd class: "en" words (ex. ten, hen, pen, Ben) 3rd class: "ig" words (ex. big, dig, pig, wig) 4th class: "ug" words (ex. hug, rug, bug, mug) 5th class: "og" words (ex. dog, log, fog, jog)

Hello I am Mrs. Keyuanna Evans. I am the teacher your child will never forget!
I have a patient teaching approach and strongly believe in verbal praise, positive correction and having fun while learning. I hope to build students' confidence and inspire them to learn. As a teacher, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child engage and having that "Light bulb" moment when they understand something.
I graduated from Virginia State University with a Masters in Education with a focus in Special Education. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Health, Recreation and Physical Education. I have been teaching elementary school for over 17 years. I have taught students in general education and students in Special Education. I have taught in both private and charter school settings.
In my everyday life, I am a wife and mother of one sweet 14 year old girl. I enjoy watching movies and spending time with my family.
