In this bi-monthly book club, students will read one book per month and participate in a book discussion while answering reading comprehension questions. We meet 2x a month to discuss the first half and then the second half. #Academic

Class experience

US Grade 3 - 6
In this online book club 
Students will work on reading comprehension skills.
Students will be exposed to a wide range of new vocabulary words.
Students will be exposed to different types of reading genres.
Students will participate in discussions and practice speaking in groups. 
Homework Offered
Students will be given the number of chapters to read prior to each book club meeting. We will read half the book for the first meeting and finish the book at the second one.
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Although I do not provide any formal assessments, I am happy to provide my observations of your student.
Grades Offered
Students will need to have a copy of the selected book for each month. 
Parents, I have picked books that I believe will be of high interest and appropriate for this age group. However, I would like you to please research each book on your own so you are comfortable with the content of each book. Common Sense Media gives honest parent reviews with a rating system.
