Class Experience
In this ongoing class, students will learn a new phonics skill each week that will help them to decode words independently. I use many Orton Gillingham strategies to help students learn the phonics rule being taught and apply it to their reading. I use Powerpoint presentations, short videos, and games to practice the skills. I am a kind and patient teacher, and I try to give each student many opportunities to share and participate.
