Beginner Level
Time to unwind after a long day of learning and playing. Let's help tuck the little one in for bed! Wear your favorite PJ's and bring a soft, cozy blanket and a stuffed animal. Students will have fun listening to soft Disney music (lullabies) in the background and listening to a "Cuddly Tale". Any Disney themed items will be a plus. First, class will begin by introducing ourselves and our stuffed animals. Then, we will begin our story time. Students will learn the different parts of the book (i.e the front, back, spine, title, and illustration). Then we will have a quick discussion of the story and what we liked. If we have time we will do a few activities and play a few games, such as Disney Trivia. Then say our "Goodnights!". ***PARENTAL NOTE: THE STORY BEING TOLD CHANGES EACH MEETING. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT STORY IS BEING TOLD ON THE DATE YOU SIGNED UP FOR. I have worked in the child care and education industry for 8 years. Throughout the years, I've experienced working with all ages. I've served as a Teacher’s Assistant, After School Care Counselor, Head Cheerleading Coach, and Girl Scout's Troop Leader among other things.
Working as a Teacher’s Assistant in an Early Education center allowed me to create and teach the preschool through Pre-K curriculum.
