US Grade 3 - 6
We will practice writing effective paragraphs for constructed responses with proper grammar utilizing our RAPS strategy. This is a catchy song that students won't be able to get out of their head! Paragraphs include: topic sentence, answering the question, providing details, and a summary sentence. The strategy can be used for multiple types of paragraph writing: opinion, informational, narrative, etc. We will use the "I Do" (teacher led instruction), "We Do" (guided practice), "You Do" (independent practice) model of teaching and learning. We will utilize the shared screen function to visit slides, videos, game simulated practice, and more!

I can write an effective paragraph response using the RAPS strategy.
