Students will practice multiplication facts from 1-12's
Class experience
US Grade 3 - 6
We will start class with an introduction to the multiplication facts that we will be covering. Students will be assigned 8 multiplication to memorize. We will then go for a fast round of multiplication facts flashcards, throughout the span of time we will add more multiplication facts. Depending on class size and class atmosphere games will be added to review multiplication facts. Games will include, flash cards, jeopardy, multiplication facts tournament, elimination games, student vs....
Students will practice multiplication facts in a fun and engaging way, through games and repetition.
As a former classroom teacher this is one of the most commonly used method I used for my own student to have them practice their multiplication facts. I have seen results and most of all I have seen their enjoyment.
Homework Offered
Students will write down the multiplication facts covered in this particular class, they are encouraged to continue practicing them on their own.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will be assessed through questioning throughout the course.Grades Offered
Students should come to class prepared with paper and pencil.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
