Let's Practice Multiplication and Division: Mathematics Camp for 9-11 Year Olds

This camp will help students revise multiplication and division, both mental and written. We will also revise weight and capacity in the context of multiplication and division problems. 

This camp is designed to help students in upper primary/elementary school review key concepts in multiplication and division so that they grow both in understanding and confidence.

Each day will include an icebreaker, a game, and time spent discussing and working with the main topic. I use lots of practical examples and discussion to help students engage with the topic concretely before moving toward abstract problems.

My class will be conversational, upbeat, and as visual and hands on as possible. Students will be encouraged to interact throughout the class, contributing to the discussion, actively working problems, and sharing their thought processes. Class size is small and limited to five students.

This class supports the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 maths and is also ideal for children in upper elementary school.
