Class Experience

SUMMARY: This multi-day class meets twice in one week for 30 minutes to play Trivia Crack with up to 7 other learners. Trivia Crack is an online trivia game where learners have 18 seconds to correctly guess the answer to questions from different categories: history, science, geography, sports, entertainment, and art. At the end of each 7 question round, the learner who answers the most questions correctly wins.

As the host, I will be running the game live through a browser version of the game from my device so learners won't need any materials and no information is collected or shared. Much like the app version this game does have the occasional toy advertisement and the questions are randomly generated.

As contestants, learners will be responsible for answering the questions when it is their turn and be respectful during another learner's turn.

SCHEDULE:

Day 1: Trivia Crack Party Mode
Day 2: Trivia Crack Party Mode

MINIMUM NUMBER OF LEARNERS: Trivia Crack Party Mode allows for up to 7 players with a minimum of 2 players. The game can still be enjoyed regardless of how many learners enroll. I can also substitute as an additional contestant if needed.

Hello, welcome to my Outschool teaching profile. If you are looking for a Math or Science class, you are in the right place. In 2010, I graduated high school with an advanced diploma and recognition for high honors. I could have graduated early but I decided to finish my senior year and experience all the science classes my high school had to offer. After graduation, I enlisted in the United States Air Force where I created programs and taught new Airmen in my office. I did this for 3 years until I was honorably discharged for a service-connected injury. After separating from the Air Force, I decided to pursue my passion for teaching and combine it with my passion for science. I enrolled at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. In 2020, I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Science in Education with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Math Education. In 2021, I returned to UW-Whitewater to finish their teacher preparedness program. This program gave me the opportunity to student teach middle school and high school students in both Math and Science. I really look forward to learning about you and your learner as you enroll in my classes. Please be sure to read the Parental Guidance section of my classes for coupons, scheduling, and other applicable information. Thank you so much for your time!
