Class Experience

Calling all fans of Stardew Valley! If you're looking for a place to meet other stardew fans, you've come to the right place. What's more exciting than sharing your favourite characters and parts of the games with other fans of the series.

In this social club, we will cover:
- Chatting about tips and tricks to accomplish our goals in the game
- Play in a co-op in PC [Please note that there are limitations and that only up to 4 players can be on the same co-op farm].
- Sharing the best mods for the game
- Ranking the characters in the game
- Discussing the advantages of each farm
- Breakout rooms might be used if folks are working on a co-op farm to ensure easier communication.

Each class will begin with each learner sharing updates about their game progress, or any other updates on the game. The club will be student-led based on what the students want to cover and do with the game. I will guide the conversation and have a list of prompts in case the discussion dies down.

As this is an ongoing class, learners can subscribe and unsubscribe as they need.
Learning Goals
By being a part of this Stardew Valley club, your child will be able to enhance their:

- Social skills: Students can create friendships with others who "get" them and have opportunities throughout the class to let their voices be heard.
- Exposure to diversity: They will be asked to watch movies they might not have thought about trying on their own. The class also consists of conversations of people with different backgrounds, which will influence how they see films.
- Critical thinking skills: Students will be asked to think about certain scenes with a critical eye, helping them understand what the movie was trying to say and do

I'm a huge video game fan, and Stardew Valley is one of my favourites. I've played both the Switch and PC version and am able to help guide learners depending on the device they use.
