I will listen to each student and assess their progress during the class meeting.Class Experience
Students will need an electric keyboard or access to an acoustic piano. During this one time course beginning musicians will learn how to play simple 5 note melodies on the black keys of the piano. Students will also learn basic music symbols, as well as begin rhythm reading. I will demonstrate how to play selected songs. Learners will play during the class and be encouraged to ask questions. Musicians will be asked if they would like to play learned music for the class. This course is geared for a beginning musician.
Learning Goals
Learning goals will be to understand and quickly see patterns on the piano. Also, students should be able to play a few songs by the end of this class.

Students need to have a keyboard/piano available. During this one time course I will provide music via slide show presentation and PDF attachments.
