Class Experience

Welcome to the Minecraft BedWars PvP Class! Get ready for an awesome and thrilling adventure where you'll dive into a world of friendly competition and exciting battles. In this special class, participants will learn and compete in the ropes of BedWars, a popular game mode within Minecraft.

BedWars is all about teamwork and strategy. Over the 12 available maps, players form teams, build forts, and protect their beds while aiming to destroy other teams' beds. It's an exhilarating mix of defense, offense, and resource management. Each team needs to gather resources, fortify their base, and plan attacks to outsmart opponents. The ultimate goal is to protect your bed while taking down your rivals' beds, securing victory for your team.

Through this engaging PvP (player versus player) experience, players will learn valuable skills such as teamwork, communication, strategic thinking, and resource management. They'll explore different tactics, develop problem-solving abilities, and learn the importance of collaboration to achieve a common goal.

The class provides a fun and safe environment for learners to engage in this dynamic game. Mr Langley will guide them through the basics, offering tips and tricks while fostering a spirit of friendly competition.

Join us for an unforgettable experience where fun meets learning! It's a chance to dive into the thrilling world of BedWars, where teamwork and strategy rule, and friendships are made through exciting battles in the imaginative realm of Minecraft.

What you can expect to see in this course:
We will use tools and weapons as we scour the maps to look out for our opposing teams on our own hosted private server. Enemies are always near so it's important we defend and attack anything that may be a threat to our way of life!

We'll learn to communicate effectively with one another using leadership and teamwork skills. We will also learn strategic methods in achieving those objectives using problem-solving techniques. We also might want to trade items with each other, sharing and helping one another. We will plan accordingly and dominate so that we can be super proud of out achievements. Guidance, useful hints and tricks will be picked up throughout the course of the journey. And along the way, we might even make some new friends!

Please join me for our next class and let's have a good time!

Please note:
At the start of the class, I will provide the students with the server information that will enable them to access the private server (also known as a realm). Please note that the first 5 minutes or less will be used to set up the game for new students who have enrolled on the course. Basic knowledge of Minecraft is needed to play with other students. If you come across any problems or queries (even before you have enrolled) please let me know before any session begins and I will do my utmost to help you. Understandingly, under the circumstances that you are incapable of participating because of little preparation, I will not be able to provide a refund. Thank you.
Learning Goals
My learning goals for this class is to help students become better communicators, problem solvers, competitors and team players. Throughout each lesson, I aim to make my students flourish in their self-esteem by guiding them to act out what they think is best through working with other class members within the game.
