Does your child love Disney princesses and movies? In this class, students will play an interactive and engaging guessing game. They will guess what movie or princess the picture, video, song, or clues describe using their oral language, inferencing, listening, and conversation skills. Students are welcome to wear tiaras, costumes, accessories or makeup to class. Using visual slides, videos, songs, and clues, I will lead the class in the interactive guessing game. Students will be able to play the entire game using only their voice to answer, so there's no need for young learners to have to wait long times for their turn for the majority of this class. The class will begin with a short welcome to each student. We will then work together to name each of the Disney princesses to warm up and get comfortable within the online class environment. Students will then play the Disney princess guessing game where we identify the names of the characters that are shown, described, or heard singing on screen. We alternate between shouting out answers, taking turns, and raising our hands to teach skills that are important in the classroom. Students will also answer questions about the characters. This class provides the opportunity for the youngest of learners to practice their identification ability, oral language development, and recall knowledge with a high-interest topic in order to strengthen some of the most commonly-accessed skills for school-aged children. This class serves as a perfect primer for rising preschool, kindergarten, or first grade students.
