It is a great opportunity for students to focus on teamwork and collaboration all while practicing positive thinking. Fortnite teaches resilience and how to get back up and try again.
Please log on 5 min early to allow time to log into Fortnite. Please have access to game console to play Fortnite and the Outschool platform.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will use social skills and focus on building language skills during class.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Fortnite will build, edit, and shoot in the class. The characters do hold multiple weapons in the game such as ax, gun, rocket launchers, etc. Please look up information to ensure students have permission to be in this class. Gamer tag provided should be used for class only. Other gamer tags from other students should not be shared or students should not add one another without PARENTAL PERMISSION. Games are for learning experiences during class. Parents are encouraged to always monitor students game account and who they are playing with. Thank you.
