Class Experience
Each week in class we combine your child’s natural love of music, storytelling, and imaginative play with age-appropriate activities that introduce early music concepts and foster independence, social and emotional skills, language growth, and self-control. The Kindermusik Home digital home materials bring the music, activities, and each month’s story everywhere you go. The repetition enhances the learning—and the fun! It’s time to play, on the playground, at the park, and on a train...
Lesson focus varies each week with an emphasis on vocal play, sequencing, integration and social constructivism. Information will be shared with parents each week after the Zoom class meeting, with tips and tools how to enhance the learning at home.
Parents and children will have access to the Kindermusik @home curricula, which includes music, activities, stories, and child development information.
Children are encouraged to have something to tap, shake, ring and wave from home each week. Any other instruments that families have at home are welcomed and will be integrated into the class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
- Kindermusik app
