NOTE: The latest update is required before class so we can check out the new roles and features! 🚀🚀🚀 "You look a little SUS!" Come play Among Us with your Outschool peers in a multiplayer game of teamwork and cooperation but also betrayal and deception! In this on-going class, students and the teacher will join a private server and work collaboratively to determine who is the impostor. We will strategize, and strengthen our reasoning and communication skills to keep our spaceship safe and vote off the imposters! ➟🚀Instructions: Students will first meet in the Zoom Outschool classroom where I will help your learner to get onto our own private Among Us server. Students should have two devices: one to join the Zoom classroom and another device (iOS, Android phones, Nintendo Switch, PC, etc.) with the app "Among Us" downloaded to it. Before class, parents please note that you must link the account/sign in to play! ➟🚀How to Play: Among Us is a fun, interactive online game with 4-15 players on a spaceship departing back home to planet earth. But be cautious… as one or more of you will be replaced by a parasitic alien “impostor” bent on eliminating the crew before the ship reaches home. The impostor fakes tasks to blend in with the rest of the crew members, and will sabotage the ship, sneak through vents, and try to frame others, with the goal to remain “unsuspicious” and eliminate the rest of the crew. The “non-alien” crew members can win by completing all tasks to fix the ship or discovering and voting the impostors off the ship. Crew members can report bodies or call meetings, where then they can discuss who they think the imposter is, and make their best guess for who to vote off the ship. The crew wins once they discover and vote the impostors off the ship! ➟🚀Please note: At least 3 learners must be enrolled per class to play the game. If the minimum number of gamers is not met, I will happily transfer or refund learners. The game’s algorithm randomly chooses who acts as the impostor, but we will continue to play new rounds during class time to give everyone a fair chance! I encourage all learners to collaborate and share tips to have a fun time and succeed in this game. This class will also be a great avenue for Outschool learners to network with others who enjoy playing Among Us and advance their communication skills!
