Description
Class Experience
We will start our class with playful introductions and warm-ups for our bodies, voices and imaginations based on student suggestions. Next, I will tell our story (City Mouse, Country Mouse) including two options for how the story ends. Students will choose the character(s) they wish to play, and we will learn our lines and practice acting out the story. Students will be encouraged to personalize their lines and characters, and to add their own unique details to the story and the ending. ...
Please have drawing supplies nearby, as we often sketch our characters or our ideas for posters or programs, or make menus for our imaginary intermission snack bar. If learners wish to wear a costume piece such as a hat or animal ears they are encouraged to do so, but it is not required at all.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
