Class Experience

Let's Paint!  XOXO! Students will create a painting with beautiful coloring and fun lettering.  While painting we will experiment with color mixing using acrylic paints.  In particular we will work on blending colors gradually and creating tints, secondary colors or intermediate colors.  
During the class two cameras will be used. Students will be able to see my drawing and listen to my instructions along the way. Questions and conversation are welcomed as we work. As always I will guide the...

Students will work with color.  They will practice creating new color such as tints, secondary colors or intermediate colors.

Some art may need to be finished outside of the class time.

Canvas or heavy paper no longer than 12 x12 is best
Acrylic paints such as red, blue, purple, black and white (Tempera paint with work too)
Paintbrush and water cup
Paper towel and table covering
Paper and Pencil

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
