Description
Class Experience
Students will be introduced to the colour wheel and explore mixing colours together. We will look at the rainbow and have fun painting one to show the rest of the group.
I have been a qualified art teacher for 17 years and worked with SEN/neurodiverse children in alternative education for the past ten. I have vast experience of teaching art classes to children of all ability levels. Academically this class is aimed at a lower developmental age of 4-5 years. However, social interaction and content will be appropriate for an older child (12-16 years).
Students will need the following to participate: - a set of paints including the colours red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. -paper -paintbrush and water
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
