During our 90 minutes together, we will create a beautiful moonscape painting. I will walk you through each step verbally and visually using a camera pointed directly on the painting as we work together. In this class, you will learn different techniques of painting like color blending. You will also get a feel for what a few different brushes do. This is a great beginner's painting class, as well a great class for anyone that is curious about painting. No experience is required for this class. So come on in, and let's get creative!

-Acrylic Paint (Black, White, Purple, Blue) -Brushes (Angled, Flat Top, Rounded Top, and a fine tip) -Q-tip -Pencil -Canvas board -Water for Brushes -Towel -Palette (a paper plate works well) -Newspaper for table -Smock (optional)

My name is Tessa DeForge. I live in the beautiful state of Vermont with my husband, 2 silly dogs and 2 precocious cats. I graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2011 and hold a bachelor's in Art Education.
I am very passionate about education. I have taught in a traditional setting for 10 years as a 6-12 art teacher and as an early educator. I love to teach a multitude of things through art and play.
