This is a one time art class to work on the Snowman painting. Students will begin class with their supplies ready to go so please check the supply list below to make sure they have everything. We will first draw our background and then add in our snowman and trees. We will discuss painting techniques, shadows and how to blend colors. I will teach using a document camera to view my project live as I do it with them and students will get to watch me demonstrate a step and then have time to do it themselves. We will work together to create their own masterpiece by the end of class! * I have flexibility in the class time, let me know if you want a different date or time!

painting paper or a canvas acrylic paint - white, blue (a couple shades are helpful or we can mix!), orange, yellow, brown, black brushes - different sizes watercup hair dryer - helps speed up drying between steps! table covering and apron

Hi! I have degrees in education and mathematics I used to teach middle school math and elementary school before having my own children. Currently, I am a homeschool mother of three girls. I love running homeschool co-op classes and write my own homeschool curriculum. I began teaching virtually March 2020.
