Let's Paint! Fun Minecraft Painting Course Steve Zombie (Ages 4-8) ~ Flex Class

Welcome! In this 4 week course, we will create 4 Minecraft paintings. No painting experience is necessary for this class. We will learn about basic brush strokes, and how to mix and blend colors. 

This is a Flex class, meaning NO LIVE CLASSES, you sign up and then watch the videos on your own schedule. I encourage students to participate in the classroom discussion by communicating with other classmates and commenting positively on their art once posted to the classroom. Ask any questions you want, and if you are comfortable, share your work as you complete each project. 

Each week a demonstration video will be posted. Students can watch the video on their own time, as many times as they like. Students can pause the video as needed when they paint. Each painting typically takes students 30-60 minutes to complete. Outline drawings will also be posted that can be printed and used as a guide when painting. Here are the 4 parts to the 4 week course:

Part 1: Steve 
Part 2: Enderman 
Part 3: Zombie 
Part 4: Pig 

Mondays- I will post the instructional video by 5 pm PT. On the classroom page students can ask questions, interact with peers and share work. Students will be given encouragement, guidance and individual feedback for each painting they create.
Wednesdays- I will check into the classroom and answer any questions.
Fridays- Submit your work by the end of the day in the classroom tab. Students can either write about their painting experience along with their submission or they can post a short video talking about their art. Give positive feedback on your classmate's work and I will critique and give you comments about your artwork in individual emails. 

* The class will have a view live meeting button, but with a flex class you will not be using this option.
