Students will be given encouragement, guidance and individual feedback in class while working on their piece. Students will learn the techniques to paint the character Zombie from Minecraft. Students will follow along while I demonstrate the step by step how to create a painting while receiving one on one critiques and tips. We will start of by sketching the character using pencil. After outlining the character with marker we will paint. An outline drawing will be posted that can be printed and used as a guide during class. Let me know if you have any questions! * Painting process will take between 25-30 minutes depending on the speed of students' painting and number of students enrolled. Students may need time outside of class to add any finishing touches to their painting. If my schedule allows, I am able to stay after class for students who need more time.

Supply List
Students will need: * 1 canvas or canvas board. Water color or card stock paper can be used instead of canvas. Suggested size under 12" * 1 medium and 1 small size paint brush * Cup of water * Plate of palette to put paints on * 1-2 Paper towels * Washable tempera paint (blue, yellow, black and white). (Watercolor, markers, crayons or other media can be used instead of tempera paint) * Something to cover your work space (newspaper, paper towels, poster board). * Pencil * Black Marker Optional: * Apron
