Class Experience
I have over 10 years of experience teaching art.
Materials Canvas 1. 11x14 Canvas board or Canvas Paint Colors 1. White 2. Purple 3. New Shamrock green ( Any shade of green will work) 4. Turquoise 5. Chocolate Brown 6. Hot Pink 7. Canary Yellow **These are the colors I will use for this painting. Students are more than welcomed to use any shades that they'd like. **I use Anita's acrylic paint. Paint Brushes 1. #8 Round Brush 2. #6 Round Brush 3.#4 Round Brush ***If you don't have the specified brush sizes you can use a small, medium , and large round brush. Additional supplies 1. *** White chalk for sketching on the canvas. 2. A foam plate or painter's pallet for mixing colors 3. Table covering 4. A smock or an old t-shirt to wear. 5. ***Handheld blow dryer for drying your painting. 6. Cup of warm water for cleaning paint brushes. 7. Paper towel for drying paint brushes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
