Class Experience

In this class, we will learn some fun facts about tree frogs. The main focus will be on the art making! I will walk the students through a drawing of a tree-frog. I will break the drawing down into very small steps in order to insure success and to keep the students confident. Students will be able to ask questions as needed. I will interact with each student to check progress and to give positive feedback and suggestions. If time allows, we will each share our pieces with the group. Learners do not need any special art experience for this class, they just need to be ready to have fun!

Hello, everyone! My name is Jen. My passion is art! I am a certified visual art teacher (for all grades) and a certified multiple subjects teacher (elementary level) and have been teaching art for 15 years. I primarily teach painting and drawing. My favorite thing is to see a student have fun, gain confidence and learn something in my classes! In my classes, I break steps down to make art easy and enjoyable. I also teach ESL classes both online and in person. I love animals and nature. A lot of my own personal art is inspired by nature. I have 3 fabulous kitties at home!
