Class Experience
In this one time class, we will go step by step through a fun Halloween sky scene, complete with a flying witch! A supply list and full example are provided in the classroom upon enrollment, but color choices are very flexible! Students can also start with a primary color palette, and I can help mix colors along the way. You can also find the supplies I used listed here in the supply tab. Students will learn some tips and techniques with acrylic paint.
I have a degree in Fine Arts, and have enjoyed doing commission work as well as teaching art for many years!
2 files available upon enrollment- Canvas or canvas paper, any size - paintbrushes, assortment - water - palette/pallete paper/paper plate - paper towels - acrylic paint (I use small bottles of craft acrylic paint, found at Walmart, Michael's, or any art supply store for less than $1 each). You can use your primary colors, plus black and white, to create any color. I'll also list the colors I used specifically: - purple (velvet crush) - lavender - brown (melted chocolate) - yellow - orange (jack-o-lantern) - darker blue (admiral blue) - black and white
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
