Class Experience
In this two day class, students will learn painting techniques to create value, shadows, and perception. This is a beginner-friendly class, so you do not have to know how to paint to complete this awesome painting. We will start with ice breakers then transition into painting. Students will paint along with me while learning basic fundamentals and other painting techniques that they can carry with them even after this class and re-create on their own. For over 4 years I have been teaching Adults and kids, weekly, at a studio in my hometown. All of my classes are an educational experience in addition to a fun artistic environment. My classes are beginner-friendly, so no experience is necessary! I will easily guide each learner into creating their own beautiful masterpiece!
CANVAS. This class time is allotted for an 11x14 canvas size. Feel free to use canvas paper, watercolor paper, or cardboard. ACRYLIC PAINT. 5 Colors needed are : White, Black, Brown, Blue, Yellow, and Orange. BRUSHES: 1" Flat Brush, Medium size "pointed" brush, and a small detail brush. Keep in mind, you do not have to get brushes with these exact measurements. A big, medium, and small brush will work perfectly fine. White paper plate for paint palette Water Cup Napkins Blow dryer Apron (optional)
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
