In this one-time class students will paint their own fun color wheel featuring little mice, As I continue my new journey teaching art online, I am finding older students who are not sure how to mix colors which inspired this class. I will guide the students in sketching out 6 mice. Next we will paint in the primary colors (red, yellow and blue) in the appropriate spots I will then explain how to mix the secondary colors (orange, green and purple) and where to put them. Students will finish off their color wheels by adding tails, eyes, nose and ears This is a guided class for any student wanting to make a color wheel/learn about mixing colors. A color wheel is an invaluable tool and I never paint without one close by. Note: Please do not use printer/copy paper...children are disappointed when their work is floppy and doesn't hold up to painting. If you are unable to get a watercolor pad then mixed media would be another choice. A drawing paper pad, though not meant for painting could work as the paper is a little sturdier.
