In this one-time class, students will learn about symmetry and warm and cool colors. They will explore painting techniques using acrylic paint. Learners will paint a beautiful butterfly with step-by-step instructions! At the end of this class, learners will have a beautiful butterfly painting to display! Techniques covered: - Creating a symmetrical composition - Painting with a warm or cool color scheme - Pattern Class Structure: - Learners check-in and introduction - Interactive slideshow symmetry as well as color theory - Demonstration and paint along of butterfly - Optional time of sharing paintings with the class - Fun, interactive game at the end if there is time During this class, learners are encouraged to ask questions and share their paintings for feedback and help. If there are more than 3 learners, microphones will be muted and they can raise their hand to unmute and ask a question. This class has a fun and creative atmosphere that fosters learning and sharing.

These are the supplies that learners should have ready before class begins: - Acrylic paint in the following colors: Black, White and 3-4 additional colors (students can choose a warm or cool color scheme) - Watercolor Paper - Medium Paint Brush - Cup of water - Paper Towels - Paper Plate or Paint Palette - Pencil
