In this 6 week's online course, students will have fun and be empowered to have a growth mindset. Imagine your child's thoughts going from "I can't do that" to " I can’t do that, yet." A small change, but one with a great impact. We can't always be positive - that's okay and part of the idea of embracing a growth mindset. Students will enhance their development and maintain a growth mindset, and get rid of some of the fixed mindset thoughts that may hold them back.
This class does not cover sensitive topics. However, I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a concentration in child welfare/wellbeing. I have worked for over 15 years with child social services offering trauma assessment and family therapy plans.

Learners may be assigned some homework or handouts for further engagement.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Violence will not be discussed during class sessions.
