Improved Reading Fluency: Enhance the student's ability to read smoothly, accurately, and with appropriate expression, aiming to increase reading speed and comprehension simultaneously. Enhanced Comprehension Skills: Develop strategies for understanding texts at deeper levels, focusing on summarization, inference, prediction, and the ability to analyze and interpret various literary elements. Phonics Mastery: Strengthen the grasp of phonics principles, including sound-symbol relationships, decoding unfamiliar words, and applying phonetic rules effectively to improve word recognition and spelling abilities.
I hold a certificate in Phonological Awareness from IMSE, accredited in the Orton-Gillingham approach, emphasizing a strong foundation in language acquisition. Additionally, I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, enriching my pedagogical expertise. My teaching journey commenced with a Teacher Certificate in Idaho in 2011, enabling me to passionately instruct Reading and Writing to 7th through 12th-grade students for two years. Following this, I obtained a TESOL certificate and dedicated five years to empowering English Language Learners through immersive ESL instruction.
