Description
Class Experience
Students will improve in specific math skills.
Math is a common struggle area and I have found that students show great improvement when given the chance work out math problems based on students' request and areas of need. When a specific skill is requested, we will work through that math skill until the student understands and can complete it independently. Math is a skill, so it needs lots of practice. This class allows students to get lots of practice with assistance from an educator.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be assessed on their math skills and understanding throughout the sessions with practice examples and interactive games.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
