Class Experience

This is a Flex class. There are no live meetings with flex courses.

In this four week course students will learn to make four different pumpkin flavored horse treats. These treats are all different from the horse treats we make in my other Flex horse treat classes. Each week I will post a video of myself making the treat. After I post the video I will ask questions in the classroom and expect students to answer these questions about the treats. Some questions they may be asked are: Did your horse like it? Did you enjoy making this treat for your horse? Are there other flavors you could make by modifying the recipe? Do you have any special treat recipes you would like to share? I will also expect students to upload videos or photos of their horse(s) trying the treats, and them making the treats. During the first week of class we will introduce our horse(s) and tell each other a little about them. Including age (if known),breed (if known) and anything special about their horse (ex. the horse(s) rescue story, something that makes their horse(s) unique, ect). Students will be expected to participate in the classroom discussions.

I will also post fun worksheets throughout the class for students to complete. Worksheets will be horse themed crossword puzzles, word scrambles and word searches. Students will be expected to ask each other for help if they don't know an answer. This activity also encourages student interaction in a fun and educational way.

I will post the ingredient lists on Fridays and I will post the video with the recipe on Monday to allow several days to get any ingredients you may not have in your home.

Each class will vary in size, so discussion and interaction will vary.
Week 1: Students will learn how to make Apple Pumpkin Cookies
Week 2: Students will learn how to make Pumpkin Balls
Week 3: Students will learn how to make Apple Pumpkin Muffins
Week 4: Students will learn how to make Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies

Please check the supply list below before registering for this course. If your student has any allergies, please message me to see if we can substitute the ingredient with something else.
