Beginner Level

In this fun and exciting single class, we will explore how to create props and objects that include but not limited to toys, interactive and environmental assets for games and animation!

PROCESS:
1) we'll draft ideas and concepts for your props
2) start bringing them to life with drawings and designs
3) add finishing touches with markers and pens

OPTIONAL BUT HELPFUL SKILLS TO HAVE PRIOR TO REGISTERING:
Basic understanding of shapes, color, and perspective.

FUN FACT:
Props can be used to compliment for your very own character you create via my other character design courses or if you already have one of your own!

Before my career in illustrating for children's books, I've had years of teaching experience in fostering children with artistic talent amongst in-person classrooms, summer camps, and virtual tutorship programs at the Anna Templeton Centre; the local arts & crafts heritage institution! This cartoon course is that very same class I had the pleasure of teaching little aspiring artists to, I look forward to creating all kinds of fun worlds and characters with them!
