Class Experience
You're invited to learn about making play dough! We will make play dough together and discuss why each ingredient is important. We will laugh, play and experiment together. Giggles and fun are welcome while we learn about squishy play dough, moldy food and the purpose of oil! We will make new friends and use our imaginations to make play dough sculptures! Students will learn how to make play dough and the purpose of each ingredient.
All Friendship Haven teachers have received extensive training prior to attending class with your treasured learners. We have all worked with children virtually and in person. We are high-energy, smiley, social teachers who often prefer spending time with children over adults. We are here to make a difference in the lives of children. We collaborated using our Early Childhood Education, combined 42 years of lived experience working with children and our passion for teaching to create this class. Welcome to Friendship Haven!
1 cup plain flour 1/2 cup salt 1/2 tbsp oil 1/2 cup water liquid food colouring
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Raw flour can cause food poisoning. Parental guidance recommended when using this play dough so children do not ingest the raw flour. We will not be cooking this play dough.
