Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their understanding of the ingredients used in this recipe: oats, protein powder, cinnamon, chia seeds, peanut butter, honey, vanilla, raisins, milk and chocolate chips. This class is designed to get students excited about preparing their own healthy food which helps them save money and control their ingredients. These are life skills that are very helpful to have, and I'm excited to share this outstanding recipe that will be a household staple!
A one-page handout will be supplied in class. Please make sure to have all of the ingredients measured out and supplies ready to go before class starts! Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups of oats 1/2 cup of vanilla whey protein powder 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon 1 tablespoon of chia seeds 1/2 cup of smooth peanut butter 3 tablespoons of natural honey 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1/3 cup of raisins 1/3 cup of chocolate chips (regular sized chocolate chips are fine, but the mini ones are better) 4 tablespoons of milk (any kind) Supplies: 1 large mixing bowl 1 tablespoon, or spoon to use to mix the ingredients plastic gloves (if you don't want to get your hands messy) 1 airtight container or large ziplock bag to store them in
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
