Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in Spanish.
Students will learn how to make horchata and learn how horchata came to be a Mexican staple.
Students will need the following supplies: Rice Dairy (animal milk or vegan) Water Cinnamon (powder or 2 cinnamon sticks) Sugar Measuring cups Measuring spoons Fine mesh strainer Big jar with lid Blender Big spoon Pitcher or can use a big jar (to keep horchata in) Ice cubes if possible Cup for serving
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will need to use a blender and may need adult supervision if unable to do it on their own.
