In this fun no-bake class, we'll learn how to make mini-fruit cornucopias using easy to find ingredients. We'll discuss the concept of "in season" produce and enjoy snacking on extra fruit while listening to a read-aloud of the book "A Plump And Perky Turkey" by Teresa Bateman. Learners will follow along as I take them step by step through the recipe, demonstrating and providing detailed explanation as we go. I will ask questions to encourage critical thinking throughout the class as well...
I will post the ingredient/supply list in the classroom the Friday before class.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
While many cooking skills can be taught through online instruction, parents/guardians are best to determine their child's comfort and skill in the kitchen. My goal is to build upon what they already know...safely. If you have any questions about whether your child's skill level is appropriate for a particular class, don't hesitate to reach out. *As you will be responsible for providing ingredients for this class, please be sure to check all food label ingredients for potential allergens.
