Students will learn the tools for starting and maintaining friendships. How to seek common interests; including starting or joining a club. Spotting similar interests through clues such as both of you are holding soccer balls or a sticker of interest on a notebook. How to ask questions and why this helps form friendships. How to know if someone wants to be their friend. What kinds of obstacles are they running into in their search for friendship? We will talk about the different challenges- shyness, fear, not understanding social cues and more.
Learning Goals
Make friends in the class and/or use the skills learned to make a friend outside of class.
