Description
Class Experience
During this class, students will learn how to draw different types of flowers to create a floral print on paper. We will discuss the different watercolor techniques like "wet on wet" and how to use your paintbrush to create interesting effects on paper. We will finish our drawing by painting with watercolors. As the teacher, I will guide the students step-by-step through each process and paint alongside them. In the materials section below, you can find everything that you will need for this...
Students will learn how to draw different types of flowers. They will also learn how to use watercolor brushes correctly, be able to identify warm and cool colors and explore the effects and techniques of watercolor painting.
Watercolor paper (any size) Watercolors A container with clean water Dry rag or paper towel Paintbrush Black Marker Pencil with Eraser
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
