Class Experience

Do you like playdough? Do you like making things? In this class, we will be making something that can be used to make more things! Playdough is so much fun to use and play with! The recipe we will be using is a no cook recipe, it just needs warm water. Once our playdough is made, we will use it to make creations that we can show off to each other.

For younger learners, it may be helpful to pre-measure the ingredients before class begins or have an adult available off-screen to help with...

Students will learn how to make playdough and practice creativity while making with their playdough.

2 cups flour
1/2 cup salt
1 cup warm water
2 tbs cream of tartar
2 tbs oil (vegetable, canola, olive, coconut, etc)
Food coloring (Optional, but fun!)
Tablespoon measuring spoon
1/2 cup and 1 cup measuring cups
Mixing bowl
Spoon
Resealable bags or containers to store playdough in

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
